Author Submission Guidelines

Ensure your manuscript meets all requirements for successful submission to WAJRDS. Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting your work.

1. Manuscript Preparation

Length Requirements

  • Research articles: 8,000 words in total, including references and footnotes
  • Book reviews: 1,500-2,000 words
  • Including abstract and references. Each article must include an abstract of not more than 250 words
  • Keywords (between 4 and 6) should follow the abstract

File Format

  • Microsoft Word (.docx) or Rich Text Format (.rtf)
  • 12pt Times New Roman font
  • double-spaced
  • submitted in Microsoft Word format

Structure Requirements

  1. Title page with author details
  2. Abstract (250 words)
  3. 4-6 keywords
  4. Main text with clear headings
  5. References section

Create an author account on our submission portal. Verify your email address to activate your account.

Upload Documents

Prepare and upload these mandatory files:

  • Anonymous manuscript (without author details)
  • Cover letter with complete author information
  • Copyright agreement form

Verify all submission details and confirm your submission. You'll receive a confirmation email with your submission ID.

3. Citation Style

All submissions must adhere to the Referencing must follow the APA 7th edition style both in-text and in the reference list author-date system.

Examples:

In-text: (Smith 2020, 45)
Reference list: Smith, John. 2020. "Article Title." Journal Name 15(2): 40-58.

4. Ethics & Copyright

Originality

Submissions must be original work not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

Peer Review

All articles undergo double-blind peer review. Average review time: 8-12 weeks.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright but grant WAJRDS first publication rights. Proper attribution required for reuse.
